  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 pound ground turkey or beef
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice zucchinis thinly and lay them on the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey or beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder to the meat. Stir to combine.
  5. Layer the meat mixture over the zucchinis in the baking dish.
  6. Top with bell peppers, onions, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
