A delightful fusion of Korean flavors and classic cheesesteak, featuring bulgogi and a twist of turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulgogi beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add sesame oil, onion, and red bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the bulgogi beef to the skillet, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in kimchi, gochujang, and soy sauce, mixing well.
  5. Place the provolone cheese slices over the beef mixture and cover until melted.
  6. Toast the hoagie rolls lightly, then fill with the beef mixture and top with turkey bacon.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust spice levels by adding more gochujang.
