  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked white beans
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, basil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the cooked beans and chopped bacon.
