  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, milk, and eggs until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off.
  6. Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding chocolate chips or nuts to the batter.
