Ingredients
Scale
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk
2 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, milk, and eggs until smooth.
In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off.
Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding chocolate chips or nuts to the batter.
These donuts can be glazed with a simple sugar glaze or topped with powdered sugar.
