  • 6 slices brioche bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for caramelizing)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Soak the brioche slices in the mixture for about 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the soaked bread until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Crisp the turkey bacon in a separate pan until fully cooked.
  5. Plate the French toast and layer with crispy turkey bacon.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar on top and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until bubbly and golden.

Notes
