  • 2 pieces cod fillet
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Dip the cod fillets in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cod until golden brown.
  4. In another pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
  5. Assemble the sandwich with lettuce, fried cod, bacon, tomato, and tartar sauce on the buns.
