A creamy and flavorful Crab and Shrimp Seafood Bisque that brings the taste of the sea to your bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. Add the white wine and allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes.
  3. Stir in the seafood stock and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and add the crab meat and shrimp, cooking until shrimp is pink.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, and let the bisque simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
  • Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
