  • 2 cups crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed gingerbread cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Layer whipped cream over the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  7. Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use flavored whipped cream.
  • Can substitute gingerbread cookies with any preferred cookie type.
