  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour half of the brownie mixture into a greased springform pan.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs.
  6. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
  7. Top with remaining brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Allow to cool and then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider using dark chocolate cocoa powder.
  • Let the cheesecake cool completely in the pan for best results.
